info The exercises are based around the use of example files and templates which have been developed for demonstration and training purposes only. Actual implementation of the software and templates will depend on users own resources and specific reporting requirements.

Overview Course Setup
This overview covers a short introduction to building revisions, and shows how to set up the training to complete the subsequent Revisioning modules.

Module 1 Revisioning
In Module 1 we will explore the basics of revisioning, including comparing drawings, promoting drawings and revising dimensions. We will also explore how the workbook is affected, and how to create a comparison report.

Module 2 Incremental Revision
In Module 2, we will reinforce the lessons learned by adding a further revised drawing and incrementally revising our measurements and estimate.

Module 3 Revisioning with Differing Drawing Files
This Module explores how to carry out revisioning between different drawing files, including JPG and PDF, and PDF and DWG. It also introduces the concepts of offsetting the position and rotation of existing dimensions to align with the new drawings.
iTWO costX® has the ability to promote and revise drawings of differing file types and scales – for example, when a hand drawn sketch or PDF is later upgraded and re-issued as a CAD drawing. The following exercise will demonstrate this function.
